Effective Date: October 24, 2026 • Last Audited: October 2026. At MattrixToppers (mattrixtoppers.in), your education, projects, and career aspirations are sacred. We reject the extractive model of traditional platforms.
We never run third-party advertising trackers or build behavioral ad profiles on any student or minor.
We never sell, rent, or trade student phone numbers, email addresses, or academic records to coaching institutes or third parties.
Students under 18 indicate minor status and parental consent during onboarding, ensuring strict protective defaults.
All personal submissions, tickets, saved items, and notifications are isolated with PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS).
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data required to deliver high-signal career roadmaps, verify proof-of-work, and connect you with audited opportunities:
- Account Credentials: Email address, authenticated login identifiers, and optional display name.
- Academic & Stage Profile: Current academic stage (School, Entrance Prep, College, Graduate, Career Explorer), school or college affiliation, and graduation year.
- Proof-of-Work Artifacts: GitHub demo URLs, project titles, challenge submissions, and earned verified credential codes.
- Telemetry & Audit Logs: Timestamped security events (IP address and user agent) stored in encrypted audit logs to prevent platform abuse and credential forgery.
2. Special Protections for Minors (Under-18 Students)
In accordance with the India Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and international child protection standards:
- Minors must confirm parental or guardian consent before submitting project deliverables.
- Minors' contact details (email and phone) are never exposed on public student portfolio pages (
/p/[username]). - We enforce an absolute ban on targeted advertising, predictive behavior scoring, and third-party commercial marketing toward minors.
3. The MattrixToppers No-Data-Sale Commitment (MKT-R17)
MattrixToppers is funded by verified institutional partner pilot programs and optional advanced cohort sprints—not by selling your personal data. We will never sell, lease, or syndicate student contact lists, academic performance metrics, or career assessments to lead brokers, coaching centers, or credit agencies.
4. Complete User Control: Automated JSON Export & Permanent Deletion
You own your data. At any time directly from Account Settings, you can:
Export your full profile, projects, submissions, verified certificates, and support tickets in an open, machine-readable JSON format.
Execute our cryptographic purge RPC (delete_own_user_account) to permanently delete all profile records, submissions, certificates, and auth sessions.
